Google Apps administrators can now restore deleted sites without needing to remember the site’s URL. Administrators can also choose to delete sites permanently before the 30-day grace period has passed.

How to access what's new:
To recover sites, scroll to the ‘Deleted sites’ section under ‘My sites’ and either restore or permanently remove sites deleted within the last 30 days

- Configurable password length for user provisioning.
- Site creation now checks Domino directory for feeders with the same name to prevent multiple instances of the tool from using the same feeders.
- Loading groups and resources prior to migration now send detailed events to the administration log.
- Web authorization page now sends detailed events to the administration log.

A Google Apps Admin Audit API is now available. With this API administrators can survey the activities of all of the account's administrators in the control panel. The API gives details about changes to a key subset of their Google Apps services and features settings including settings for Calendar, Chat, their delegated administrators, Docs, domain configuration, Gmail, Groups, mobile settings, organization hierarchy, Sites, and user settings. In addition to the setting changes, the API returns specifics about the change activity itself, including the IP address used by the administrator.

You can now change your default meeting length in Google Calendar away from the 30 minute standard. This allows you to avoid clicking into the Event Details page to create your most common event lengths. We’ve also released improvements to our print options that allow you to select the time range you would like to print.

We’ve graduated three of our most popular labs. Superstars allow you to use different stars to mark and organize messages, Nested Labels allow you to organize labels hierarchically, and Advanced IMAP controls allow users who access their mail via an IMAP client to only sync selected labels or to limit folder size. We’ve also retired the Google Search box lab, as users can now search by clicking ‘Search the Web’ next to the search bar at the top of the Gmail page.
